DisplayPort sources cannot power USB-C portable monitors, AR glasses, or VR headsets. Works with USB-C displays that accept DP Alt Mode and have their own power input (second USB-C power port or external power). Not recommended for single-port “one-cable” portable monitors that rely on source power.
